Chapter 3

Configuring Color and Text with CSS

Hands On Practice 3.3 P.88

For this exercise I learned how to adjust type fonts in CSS and applied other rules to other elements such as the <p> paragraph tag and <ul> unordered list tag. Please see code below. All I did was add on to the previous code used in Hands On Practice 3.2. The parts that I added on are in red.

<style type="text/css">

body { background-color: #E6E6FA;
color: #191970;
font-family: Arial, Verdana, sans-serif;
}

h1 { background-color: #191970;
color: #E6E6FA;
line-height: 200%;
font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;

}

h2 { background-color: #AEAED4;
color: #191970;
font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
}

p { font-size: .90em; }

ul { font-weight: bold; }

</style>
